Nicole LeungVP Administration
Nicole is in 2nd year pharmacy. This is Nicole's third year with HSF. She joined because she wanted to be more involved with the campus community and also to meet people who have the same passion for health promotion. Nicole can speak 3+ languages, and likes to go for runs, play badminton and attempt dancing to her favourite songs.
Karen TseInternal Co-Director
Karen is in first year Pharmacy. She joined HSF because she wanted to get involved and thought that promoting heart health, stroke awareness and healthy living is where she could really contribute in a meaningful and positive way to the UBC community.
Jennifer ChenInternal Co-Director
Jennifer is a third year student in the faculty of science, doing a combined major in computer science and microbiology. She joined HSF to get more involved on campus, meet new people, and be a part of a club that aligns with her own values. An interesting fact about Jennifer is that she has traveled to a small landlocked country called Bhutan. Some things Jennifer does to stay healthy is play drop in and intramural sports, and ATTEMPT to eat healthy.
David is in his 5th year studying Biochemistry. He joined the UBC HSF Club for its perks, dope t-shirts, and to meet amazing, like-minded individuals promoting health and wellness within the community. David can probably bore you to death by talking about cars. To stay in physical and mental shape David sleeps as much as possible.
Ravneet DhaliwalInternal Coordinator
Ravneet is a 2nd year student in the faculty of arts, majoring in psychology. HSF strives to create a healthy and heart-strong UBC community, this is one of the many reasons why she decided to join. She scoops ice cream for a living. Running outdoors is her go-to activity to stay mentally and physically happy.
Janis MoyInternal Coordinator
Janis Moy is a second year student majoring in Biology in the Faculty of Science. She joined the Heart and Stroke Foundation club at UBC because she had been fundraising for the foundation through the cadet program for the last few years. She saw this club as an opportunity for her to continue to show awareness towards the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle. An interesting fact about Janis is she enjoys outdoor activities such as biking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. She also prefers cooking healthy foods as an alternative to dining out to improve and maintain her physical health.
Dalton LamInternal Coordinator
Dalton Lam is a first year student in the faculty of science hoping to specalize in pharmacy! Dalton joined HSF because he wanted to get involved with like-minded people to promote a healthy living life-style and to help support a great cause. An interesting fact about Dalton is that he has been playing the piano ever since he was four years old. Dalton stays physically and mentally healthy by making sure he exercises frequently and eating healthy foods.
